The Dot Com Lifestyle Of A Successful Internet Entrepreneur
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst; a spark that creates extraordinary results.
For myself, I have always taken this positive approach towards life ever since I become an Internet Entrepreneur back in 2008. I have personally built more than 100 niche websites. Never ever underestimate my 100 niche websites as these 100 web properties have brought me almost 5-figure income every month. These web properties are an asset to me. In fact, anything that can generate income is an asset.
I have been exploring and learning about Internet marketing since 2006. It was in 2008 that I become a full-time Internet marketer or rather web entrepreneur. I still remember the euphoria that I have when I made my first sale online through one of my very first website. It was a sale of US$10.89 on one of the e-books that I was selling on my website. The feeling of seeing this sale online makes me realize that earning a full-time living online is absolutely possible. In fact, this sale gave me a newfound perspective towards my online business and I started to take my online business very seriously. I worked extremely hard everyday trying to enhance my websites and did intensive keyword research to build more lucrative niche sites. My online income increases as time goes by and I was earning approximately US$350 every month. I continue to work very hard until today where I am earning as much as 5 figure income every month.
How Can Anyone Make Money Online With Websites?
Many of my friends and relatives were very surprised and confused on how I managed to be so successful online. They asked me – “Anson, How can anyone make money online with websites? After all, a website is nothing. It’s just a virtual space on the World Wide Web. Hence, how can it generates almost 5 figure income for you?”
Since 2008, I am a full-time Internet Entrepreneur. Well, it was my first check from ClickBank, which propelled me to more successes. It was only a US$65.03 check, which I received from ClickBank back in 2008. The amount may be small but it is a huge moral boost for my online entrepreneurship. From that day onwards, success just keep coming to me like domino effect as I work on my Internet business with true passion and dedication.
Now, the question is that, is it really possible to make money online with a website? And if yes, then how? Well, yes of course you can make money online with a website and I am a real life success story. It is possible to generate a full-time income from a website. In fact, it is possible to generate income from anything in this world if you have the full determination and right mental attitude to make it works.
A Website Is An Asset.
A website is an Asset and you can buy and sell assets. For example, Stocks, Bonds, Real Estate, Businesses and Mutual Funds are all Assets because they generate income. Websites and blogs are also able to generate income and hence it is logical to say that websites and blogs are Assets. The good news is, even if your websites and blogs do not generate income, you can still call it an Asset. The reason is, we are treating our websites as a business and not simply anything. Your website is a business that can potentially earn you money in the long run if you know how to manage and promote it well. And a business is an Asset. This is what I like about the web properties business. Even if they don’t generate any kind of income for you, you can still sell them for a great profit. The reason is that your websites contain contents and contents are what make your websites valuable. Anything that is useful to people is valuable and contents are very informational and useful to many people. Everyday, millions and millions of people are searching for information online. This is the reason why you can sell information on your website. In addition, it requires a human mind work to develop lucrative websites and blogs. The processes involved require long hours of mind labor work everyday to create websites and blogs. This is why even if the web properties are not generating any income; you can still sell them for profits. Remember the first website which made me my first online sale of US$10.89? I sold this website business after a year of developing it for a whopping US$2,600 online and I have been building and selling profitable website businesses ever since.
How I Become An Internet Entrepreneur And A Website Selling Expert?
Many of my friends and relatives ask me how did I manage to discover such a great moneymaking opportunity online? Well, I would honestly say that I come into this massive online money making opportunity world incidentally. I always love building websites online during my school days. I learned basic html myself and started building some simple websites online. However, I was doing all these merely as a passion and hobby. It was only after I enter adulthood that a small event propelled me to Internet Success. Back in 2006, I picked up an inspirational book at my local bookstore. It was by a local author. I read everything in it and attended a preview seminar that the book was advertising. That particular preview seminar was the stepping-stone to my current online success. At that time, I did not know what is Internet marketing. In addition, I did not even know how to start a business not to mention starting a business online. I did not have any idea that my websites can generate income and that they can be worth hundreds of thousands dollars in just a couple of years.
In 2010, after I have been building niche websites and earning a consistent online income from affiliate marketing, I realized that I have a natural skill to develop website businesses and sell them for a massive profit. Since then, I never looked back and up to this very moment, I have developed literally hundreds of websites businesses and sold them for huge profits online.
The Working Lifestyle Of An Internet Entrepreneur
Many people who know about my online success asked me this common question, “So how to you go about your daily working tasks as an online entrepreneur?” My answer to them is, “It is just a typical job like many other jobs out there!”
Although I have absolute control over my time and freedom, I always maintain a discipline-working schedule to my online work everyday. Usually, I will wake up at 9 am in the morning and have my breakfast and read the newspapers. Thereafter, I will turn on my MacBook Pro Laptop and start checking my emails online. I always look forward to my emails as I often anticipate good news from my emails. They can be potential business deals and positive feedbacks from my clients and customers. I have also subscribed to numerous email newsletters by successful and famous Internet entrepreneurs to learn from them. I always believe in continuous learning and I completely agree that learning is a life-long journey. Through all these email newsletters, I manage to keep up-to-date to the latest trends in the online business world and also discover new online marketing strategies and techniques.
After checking my emails, I will usually take a sincere effort to reply to some of the worthy-to-reply emails. Once I am done with my emails, I will then log in into my various Affiliate Programs’ accounts to check on my daily sales records. I will log in into my ClickBank account first and check how much have I earned this morning from all the digital products that I am promoting on all my niche websites and web properties. I will then log in into ShareASale, Amazon Associate, Commission Junctions and LinkShare to check on my online sales. Lastly, I will log in to my favorite Google Adsense account to check on my daily click-through earnings. I received my first adsense check from Google this year 2010. It was a whopping US$100 check and my love-cum-business partner and me were simply overjoyed. All these checking of sales on my affiliate programs’ accounts give me great excitements to look forward to every day. I simply love the feeling of waking up in the morning with payment confirmations in my email inbox.
Once I am done with my sales record of the day, I will start my keyword research using Micro Niche Finder (A Premium Keyword Research Tool which I have paid for.) to find profitable long-tail keywords and niches to venture into for my next niche-marketing project. I will usually spend at least 2 hours everyday on keyword research. In addition, to finding new niches to venture, I will also use keyword research to enhance the search engine optimization of my existing niche websites. Next, I will spend the next 3 hours to touch up my existing niche sites and do diverse promotional strategies to market my niche websites to generate more online income. I will also start building on my next niche marketing site development and implement all the tasks that I have discussed with my business cum love partner.
Next, I will spend the next full hour on my business outsourcing matters. I will contact my team of virtual employees and delegate tasks to them. I will also converse with my team of outsourcing staffs online to direct them on how to carry out the various online tasks that I am going to outsource to them. This is the beauty of outsourcing. I still remember when I was first starting out, I spent almost every hours of my days writing SEO articles to do article marketing for my websites. Although it was time-consuming, I found it a joy to do the article content writings for my websites. Nonetheless, now that I have accumulated some wealth, I am in a better position to hire virtual assistants to do such tasks for me. In fact, I am paying these virtual assistants a full-time salary every month. It is of great pleasure to interview and recruit new virtual assistants to join my team. It is a different feeling to become an employer now. Nevertheless, I still do most of the important tasks and jobs myself.
Once I am done with the delegation of tasks to my team of virtual employees, I will then spend another 3 hours to research on potential niche sites to build for my next website flipping business. Usually, I will build on a niche site and start listing it online for sale on the same day. I will usually get to sell the brand new niche website business for at least US$497 within 24 hours or so. I will repeat this procedure by building another niche site to sell the following day and so on. In total, I make an effort to sell at least 3 niche sites per week, which will earn me at least US$1,000 per week. Take note that this earning is just one of my many other revenue streams online.
My working schedule is very flexible but I will usually stick to a routine, which I have become accustomed to. I will work intensively on Monday to Wednesday on my niche site research and development. Then on Thursday, I will meet up with my business cum love partner to discuss on our agendas, plans and strategies. We will usually discuss for 3-4 hours and then go back home to implement our discussed plans.
On Friday, I will usually work in the morning and then meet up with my love partner to go for a movie and shopping. The time to relax will usually be the weekends on Saturday and Sunday. We will usually spend our weekends going cycling, relaxing at the beach or go for some fun excursions around Singapore. Both of us simply relish our “Eat, Pray, Love” moments together. Nonetheless, we are very flexible in the sense that we will also sometimes work during the weekends together on our Internet business. If we do work intensively on our Internet business during our weekends, we will usually rest and go for some relaxation activities during the first few days of the weekdays. After a hard day of work, we love to reward ourselves with delicious food, massages, enriching books, shopping and meaningful activities together.
On top of working during the daytime, we will usually carry our work to the evening and night, most of the time till the early hours in the morning. Our working time is usually like this; 9am to 3pm, 4pm to 6pm, then 10pm to 2am. We are so dedicated and passionate in our Internet business that we are willing to fork out lots of time and effort to realize our goals and dreams and to achieve our financial freedom.
The dot COM lifestyle of a successful Internet entrepreneur is very much the same as everyone else. We also work hard for our business and work but with the added elements of passions and commitments. And of course, the satisfactions of seeing our monetary reward from our hard work is the best gift we will ever receive. In fact, by seeing the fruitful rewards from our Internet business is what keeps us going in our entrepreneurship journey. I believe that there is no easy way to life and this includes starting an Internet business. I work hard and smart to where I am now and if you would want to be like me, then you must work double hard and keep assimilating new knowledge as much as possible to help you achieve any goals in life.
When I live fully in each moment and experience life to the fullest, my fears dissolve and the Universe sends new opportunities into my life. When you want something really badly, the whole Universe will conspire to help you get it. The true is, behind me is infinite power… Before me is endless possibility… Around me is boundless opportunity… Why should I fear? Take this positive approach towards life and success will soon come to you.
